Inspiration for pastoral care in connection with artistic methods - with special attention to bibliotherapy and verse therapy, their possibilities and use
Šatánková, Radana ; Macek, Ondřej (advisor) ; Zámečník, Jan (referee)
The presented diploma thesis entitled Inspiration for pastoral care in connection with artistic methods - with special attention to bibliotherapy and verse therapy, their possibilities and use occupies an interdisciplinary scope in the field of theology - art - therapy. The work is divided into three parts: The first contains a treatise on pastoral and practical theology; it reflects different terminologies and notes the differences and common emphases and concepts of both theological fields. However, this is preceded by a careful search for Old Testament and New Testament images of the figure of the Shepherd - a model for those who are entrusted with the care for people. Certainly, this list with its own commentary is not exhaustive, but it is reflected in the presentation of pastoral work. Much attention is paid to the oft-discussed laity - their cooperation with the clergy and their application in the church and outside it. In pastoral work, we also encounter the four constitutive elements of the church (leiturgy, martyria, koinonia, diakonia), manifested to varying degrees, or even intertwined. Another line of work consistently points to the rapidly changing world and society and the demands on Christian service to be helpful to the man of today. The fundamental principles of the helping...
Initiation sacraments in canonical and liturgical law
BENEŠOVÁ, Marie
The Church sanctifies the world primarily by celebrating the liturgy and administering the sacraments. In the Catholic Church, we distinguish seven sacraments instituted by Jesus Christ. The thesis discusses the so-called initiation sacraments, baptism, confirmation and the Eucharist. Their acceptance is required in the case of repeated reception of the Eucharist for full initiation into the Christian life. The most sublime Eucharist is the source and at the same time the peak of all our actions. The thesis refers to both the biblical/historical roots and particularly to the current canonical and liturgical practice of administering initiation sacraments from the point of view of the canon law of the Latin Church (CIC/1983), the canon law of the churches of the Eastern Rite sui iuris (CCEO), official liturgical books (e.g., General Instruction of the Roman Missal) and other documents of the magisterium and relevant church authority concerning the liturgy.

Health myths Promoted by Online Media
Jeníková, Anna ; Vochocová, Lenka (advisor) ; Zezulková, Markéta (referee)
The diploma thesis deals with current media myths about health and the human body. Dissemination of myths among the general public has been facilitated by the emergence of new media that allow a multi-layered debate across social groups. Online content offers a quick source and a wide range of answers or inspiration on health and human body issues, usually without the need to indicate where the information comes from. I will focus on the discussion about detoxification of the human body in life-style online media for women. Contemporary discussions on this topic show that easy access to information has prompted a wave of so-called "self-healing" described as a situation in which people consult their health problems primarily with online content, and then, if at all, with their GP or with another expert. Although some myths have been scientifically refuted, they still have their "proponents" who can represent legitimate knowledge. The very word "myth" or "half-truth" or "superstition" is discursively specific, burdened and represents an ideology. In many health and human body issues, there are many arguments of both parties (both mainstream and alternative medicine). I will observe this extreme polarization in the diploma thesis that is neither a defense of expert votes nor "experts by...
